I thought I’ll share this long-lost gem that I found thanks to Google, the amazing human brain that preserved none but one verse of the poem, and a random Facebook page.
I think the Bangla translation was first published in the nineties, on then ‘Bhorer kagoj’. Being a teenager, I was ecstatic primarily to find ‘Bob Dylan’ written in Bangla, in a Bangla newspaper. Never a poetry connoisseur (these days,not even a reader), but was able to grasp the magic of Syed Haque’s transcending work.If you’ve heard the song,you’ll like it even more. Enjoy.
